Yesterday I headed off to see Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man's Chest, which was not better than the first one, but was by far more amusing as far as the amount of humor and improbability of it all was concerned...but the most interesting things seemed to happen after the movie.

i am bothered that people are saying that the second Pirates is better than the first....i mean, it was really funny, very cute at times...but not as great as the first. Sometimes it almost felt it was a little too silly...Oh, but with Captain Jack running around who cares about the rest of the movie right?

ok ok, just wonderin here could just be me, but do you just have this urge to see them kiss. Mr.Turner and Captain Jack? Lol, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but my friend and i couldn't seem to think about anything else. I mean, if they did, it wouldn't be serious, but sometimes it just felt like they should...

Well, while that may have been a possibility in the first movie, in the second, Will was far too pissed at Jack for such things. However I'm sure if you or one of said friends wished to write oh say... a fanfic, you would be able to find a way rather conveniently around said anger issue.

Also I agree that at times the movie was entirely too silly, but think that was Disney's way of balancing out the kissing and the bloody lil scene at the beginning.

That "bloody lil scene" was by far too graphic. Eeeew.

Also, the island where siad bloody lil scene takes place is one of the many things left hanging at the end.
Disney seems to like trilogies now... i.e. Kingdom Hearts. But then, PotC needs another movie to wrap things up; KH does NOT need another game.
