So I have a brain dead Sunday after working all day yesterday and then foolishly going out and drinking too much way too quick. Pete and I fought again last night. It seems my year of stress and now living in limbo as far as planning for next year is making us both fight for no reason, but at least we went some way to finding out why we're doing it

Was that the RSA thingo? I found that eyepokingoutingly boring. Some of the tidbits of info, e.g., you're an alcoholic if you don't have 3-4 days per week without alcohol (oops), were interesting, but only fleetingly. I mainly pitied the teacher for having to go through this dead boring stuff regularly. But it's good to have a bit of paper.

And Foo Fighters, hope you have fun. *is officially jealous*

The RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) was on Monday, and the rest of the week was "Operate a Bar", a few modules of the Hospitality course. That was more practical and somewhat less boring (and I got to taste cocktails that I made!) and I learnt a lot more in that part, as I had to know about beer, wine, spirits and liqueurs, for the not open book test, unlike the RSA. Our teachers seemed to like what they were doing tho, so that perplexed me, and took up a great deal of my thoughts... 'Who chooses to teach that stuff anyway??' they must get good pay!
