I think my cats would think Garfield was stupid. (And yet, so much smarter than the idiot who he lives with.) I don't know about the average cat.

I am allergic to cats, so I've never really spent much time around any of them. But I'm sure Shawn's cat would find Get Fuzzy VERY realistic. Probably Garfield, too.

I, on the other hand, love Family Guy AND Sex & the City. I live Sex & the City - there's been a few times where my jaw dropped and I said, "OH THAT HAPPENED TO MEEE!"

My cats do like Get Fuzzy. They lay all over those books if I leave them out. I think Garfield is a little too parochial for them. They tend to cuddle up more if I'm reading an actual novel than a magazine, if that helps.

They've very smart.

Also, Mona enjoys ripping magazines apart. I like to think it's due to the nature of her intelligence. Rather than, you know. The pages are fun to tear. Or something.

Baby RT would love Garfield. And probably think he is that cat and the story is about him (I think it is too at times).

Puka, Angel, and Ginny would be insulted and say noodles are not food and not all dogs are stupid. They would hate him and strike against the fat feline.

Zell wouldn't care, for once he's in the house without being chased out.

I believe that Napkin and Bulldog would just believe that Baby has finally been recognized for his amazing abilities.

My cats are odd.
