Why do I trust the acquaintance I barely know?

Right. Well, in that case, I'm going with I distrust them all equally.

I trust the guy with a past less than I trust the guy with no past. Actually.. I'm interested in the gy with no past. How does that work? DId it explode? Is it too gruesome to tell so everyone forgets it?

I'm with jerseryfabulous here-- of all the people present in the room, I'm not trusting that acquaintance. but I guess I'd trust the man with a past over the man with no past.

i actually agree with you. i don't think it sounds like the person you're there with is very helpful in terms of being a barometer for that.

I think I might go with the man with no past - I've dated men WITH a past, and personally, I find them to still be living in it more often than not. At least the guy with no past is a tabula rasa to scribble all over, right?

I have more skepticism toward the acquaintance.

But I think between the given options, a "man with no past" might freak me out more. How does one have NO past? Did he just...materialize?

Either way, I'm not talking to either new person.
