im trying to decide if i should take softball seriously... a lot of the softball girls i know are like reallly into it, like going to all these classes and are on all these teams and stuff. I was offered to play for a Delran team, they won the Olympics division for New Jersey last year, and play against 18 year olds ( Read more... )

you know as well as i do that you love softball. yesterday you were saying how you wanted to go to college and play on their team!!! i think you should take as many opportunities as you can, because it can really get you somewhere. believe me, playing on phs's team isnt gonna get you much.. ha. well, ill shut up now. i cant wait till our trip to wendyssss!!!! <3<3

haha dont hate one phs's team...the softball team is always good, and even if they arent...that will make the person with talent look that much better...but becky is right, you need to be successful with a team before you are successful as yourself, and you may not find that at palmyra

in my opinion you should def. take it seriously....i wouldnt be saying this to you if i didnt think you werent good eough or couldnt do it. my theory is if you have something good, take advantage of it. and you are really good at softball, and if you want to make something of it, go that extra mile to get there. i have faith in ya, and i know ya could make it :)

ash, playing on a town team that plays gsa won't get you anywhere
trust me.
i 'think' i know what i'm talking about.
you need to get on an asa team like the witches, mystics, gems, or breakers.
something along those lines... college coaches DO NOT go to town games or high school games.
they go to the asa showcase tournaments... like pennsbury
but the town team will probably make you better because of better competition
i dont know what delran team your talking about though.. the 18u team that won the whole south jersey thing was gloucester, and the cinnaminson team that me, kell, kris+ cori played on came in like 3rd.

but i hoped that helped somewhat...

yeah, i should really join an asa team, but i really dont think that i'll make it, and i dont really wanna be the only one who doesnt know anyone there. but i think i probably will tryout. it just seems like everyone who takes softball seriously, has been taking it seriously, and therefore is really good.. way better than me. i would really like to take all the chances i could.
oh yeah, about the delran team, their pitcher is the one that pitched against us for the delran game last year, sarah polis, and shes in my pitching class. but yeah i think that they won it for the Olympic division, and maybe they play the 18-year olds only sometimes. i dunno anything about it really. but yes, you all definately helped out a lot. THANK YOU!!!! :D

lol that girl was ASS.
i know she was a freshman and all last year, but we lit her up.
i'm supposed to be in your pitching class, but i have basketball on thursday nights, well actually, everyday of the week, but i usually have a game on thursday nights.
so now i hafta take private lessons with bob. god help me.. :/
