Hello everyone, Tim here (aka, he who plays
likes_chicken,
funnyways, and also now
not_jaded_yet). While Jen will need a little bit of an info post (She's pretty normal... for now), Vince is the newbie of mine that needs the most introduction.
Vince Noir comes from a little TV show called The Mighty Boosh.
The Mighty Boosh isn't just on crack. It's on this strange drug cocktail of opiates, narcotics, hallucinogens with a marshmallow center and a chocolate crust. This is a show that has villains like an angry creature made of a Betamax tape. I mention this just so what I'm about to say doesn't seem like I'm just spouting nonsense.
Vince Noir was raised in the jungles of India by
Bryan Ferry. They lived in a house made of bus tickets, and whenever Bryan was on tour, Vince was left in the care of the jungle animals. This lead to Vince developing the ability to talk with all animals. It was not all sunshine, however. The monkey king of the jungle wanted to steal Vince's face so he could be a proper king.
...If that sounds familiar at all, it's because its wholesale ripped off from The Jungle Book. Vince is special like that. He even calls himself 'Mowgli, the Retro Version' and 'Mowgli in Flares' on occasion.
Personality wise, Vince is like a marshmallow. Fluffy, sugary, full of calories and nothing else. He loves himself. A lot. Narcissistic to the extreme. But he's nice about it, if that's possible. He just really thinks he looks amazing, and doesn't mind indulging in it.
He also considers himself a paragon of fashion (hence the class he'll be teaching), a future pop star (his idols are Mick Jagger and Gary Numan), and all around great guy. He'll make friends with just about anyone. He has the ability to befriend polar bears and DIY demons made of sandpaper. He's special that way.
...I really suck at making these concise and easy to understand.
Uhhh... any questions?
ETA: So, here's the other important facts for interacting with him.
One) He is often mistaken for a woman, in canon. Strange men hit on him with regularity. Feel free to play with that as you will.
Two) On that front, Vince calls himself 'The Confuser'. As in he makes folks go 'Is it a man, is it a woman, do I care?'.
And yes, Vince does swing all ways.
