I am SO inlove with your James. He is just so confident and suave and delicious. And the James Bond thing!!! Did you know he actually auditioned for Quantum of Solice as James? I'm so glad you like it, darling. You're very welcome. And I do seem to recall having stumbled across that 007 factoid somewhere, but I'd forgotten it until you mentioned that. This was honestly inspired by the combined ideas of: James having formerly been involved in espionage, the fact that he's so irrepressibly English, and how great it would be for Jack to make near-deadpan use of the line, "I can't believe that all this time I've been fucking James Bond."

And that little concept fluttered about on some scribbly sticky notes in the back of my head for a bit, not really being paid attention to, until I decided that it'd be fun to give you a birthday present. That was when the evil laughter started.

Oh, your James is most distracting in all kinds of ways. I love the idea that he can surprise Jack when he's least expecting it, and it's just marvellous that Jack's turned on by James's Bond-type, er, stuff. I know, who wouldn't be, but you know what I mean. Yay AU Sparrington!
