Wow. That's seriously all I can say is wow. I was nervous about reading this but man I am so glad I did because it's so lovely and beautiful and heartbreaking and true. I love that you told it from Ben's pov, I love how you told it, but I think most of all I love the way you told it. It was angsty, but it wasn't cliche or over dramatic. It was simple, and therefore all the more devastating. God. I just really loved this. Great job. <3

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS COMMENT. You honestly hit the nail on the head with a lot of the things I was nervous about when writing this (from Ben's POV, being too cliche in the angst), so this means a lot!

Oh, I love this! It is a little angsty and it's definitely sad but it's also lovely. I like that Marlene makes an appearance too!

Really beautiful job. :)

Thank you! I've really missed having Marlene react to all the things that have happened to Leslie the past few seasons, so I'm glad you liked it :)

This is beautiful, amazing, amazing, uh mae ZINGGGG. The prose was delicate and pretty and so haunting and sad all in one and it really just floored and put me in a space and took me to a whole new place, like... perfection. This was eye opening from Ben's POV, watching him struggle to find a way to comfort Leslie and to deal with himself was so fascinating and of course heartbreaking and I think you just did a bang up job and are overall extremely amazing. Like I'm still sitting here digesting and as the seconds tick by, it keeps settling nicely. Loved this, thank you so much for writing this.
