tonight is so going to suck. i have to write a paper on sylvia plath's poetry and how her preoccupation with death showed in her work. it's gonna take me forever and it has to be at least 6 pages. i have done next to nothing on it so far.

i'm sorry girl, but that sounds like an interesting topic and pretty easy - although six pages is a lot. man, i would die if i were in "regular" school. hahahaha. it's so not my thing. did you ever see that movie "sylvia" with gweneth paltrow playing her? i heard it bombed but i want to see it.

it's so good, i totally rocked it. even if it did take me til 5 this morning. having an english major boyfriend makes stuff easier, he always edits for me. ahhhh nerd love.

sylvia the movie was fairly atrocious. after watching it, you feel as though it could've been any couple in the movie, as oppose to what i was expecting: a dramatic and passionate poetic romance. a few scenes in the first half of the movie with the poets are really wonderful though, and it saddened me that the rest of the movie was just nothing. the trailer was really well done, but by the end of the movie it just leads to bleh. gwenyth paltrow's voiceovers were excellent though, and i think the actors did a good job, i just really wasn't into the script. not enough details about ms. plath's life, in my opinion, which is stupid considering the movie is called "sylvia."

some people feel that because sylvia plath committed suicide, that the majority of readers of her work see preoccupation with death, when it really isn't there. i'm still on the fence with that one, but there certainly seems to be plenty of it.

how you been amber? haven't heard from you in a while and i hope you're doing okay.
