This will be a basic rundown of Hugo Reyes, better known as Hurley from the Abrams-Lindelof show Lost.

Important fact #1: Hurley isn't exactly pre-canon, since Lost's narrative covers flashbacks, flashforwards, etcetera. Basically, he's coming in at the age of 17 as a high school junior. The only event from the show that has occured is his father abandoning his family when Hurley was 10, which psychologically triggered Hurley's overeating problem.

Important fact #2: Hurley is not coming from a time-shifted Lost canon. Hurley will be suffering a bit of culture shock, as he'll have just been in the year 1994.

Important fact #3: Hurley is, well, a large boy. He is highly overweight, and eats a lot. This will, on occasion, be used for humorous purposes, but not in any mean-spirited way. His weight problem is part of what makes him so human, and his genuine struggles are part of what makes Hurley such a darn teddy bear.

Important fact #4: Hurley takes it upon himself to keep other people happy. He's very outgoing, and does things like build golf courses to raise morale. He's very agreeable, sensitive to others' feelings, and just all around good guy.

Important fact #5: Hurley is really good at a ping-pong.

Also important: Hi guys, it's Tim again. You might remember me as Cally and the like, from before. I left the game for a good long while, and I'm grateful that the admins have given me a second chance here.

I know I wasn't the most agreeable player back when I left. And I'm sorry for that. If you want to see the full public apology I wrote a few months back, that's here. But I'll say it here, too.

I'm sorry for how I acted back then, and I'm really making a definite stride to just being a fun guy to play with, without any drama or idiocy or problematic choices on my part. I'm not expecting a clean slate, here. Just a second chance. Please, just let me know if anything I do or that I have Hurley do causes any issues. I promise I'll listen and try to avoid stepping on anyone's toes.

Thanks. It's good to be back.

...also important side note: My availability this coming weekend will be spotty, what with Dragon*Con and all. But I'll do my best to tag into things, etcetera, when I'm not too busy running around with a bag on my head.
