I really enjoyed this fic, thank you! Telling it in reverse was intriguing and I found it very fitting for the story.
I didn't expect the twist of who exactly the bad guys were, so you definitely caught me by surprise there and made the depth of betrayal for Jensen that much more poignant.
I'm so glad that in the end (or shall I rather say the beginning ;)) Jared and Jensen found each other and can help each other heal. Knowing that from the start of the fic made the Event and its aftermath easier to bear.
Thank you! Thanks a lot for reading and reviewing my challenge, it means a lot ^^ I'm glad you liked the reverse thing, I was very keen on it myself lol ^^
Yeah, the betrayal was supposed to be great, like a very strong point in my story so, it was obviously coming from someone close to Jensen, poor him.
I just have to say I LOVED this part: Cut Jensen, and Jared was the one bleeding. And vice-versa. It wasn’t how friends reacted with each other, not even best friends. Brothers? Maybe, but as much as they would love to be, they weren’t Sam and Dean. They were just Jensen and Jared. Drowning in each other since day one, staunchest supporter of each other, best friends, best everything. Jensen was the laugh Jared let out early in the morning, before his first cup of coffee, and he was the fond smile playing on Jared's lips, when he drifted to sleep, late at night. Jensen ruled over Jared's realm of dreams and was the foundation that anchored him during the daylight. With Jensen, everything was different. The rules didn’t apply anymore. He was a blessing and a curse, the beginning and the end, the good, the bad, and everything in between. He was love. He was Jared’s
very intriguing! now should I read it all backwards?....nah, but I may go read the first part again just for some feel good feelings...it was kind of an emotional roller coaster :P
Haha, aww BB, here take my virtual klennex <3 I'm so glad and flattered that I could make you feel strongs emotions with this fic! Thanks! *bow down deeply*
Wow. I sit here stunned having read this, and really, wow. Telling it backwards lent a certain kind of frenzy to find out what happened, I couldn't read fast enough.
Your portrayal of our boys was so sweet, a slow and inevitable build to what everyone else can see.
