I MOVED! Honestly living in New York isn't really all that different from my older pattern of visiting New York so I don't have particularly much to say about that. However, I will say that the management from my building is useless. The former tenants didn't clean anything at all and neither did management so I've been spending the last week ( Read more... ) -
Moving
So I'm in the process of packing today because I move to Manhattan on the 22nd. I honestly can't believe that me and Tea had accumulated so much stuff here in 2 years; it's exhausting sorting through it all so I can actually fit comfortably in a smaller place. So I have learned that the true nature of cons is not one of rest and relaxation but sleep deprivation and contagion. I-con was fabulously fun for the following reasons:

So I skipped Japanese today and now that I'm sitting with the HW in front of me I'm starting to consider it a very BAD idea. I don't know how I'm going to get all these kanji memorized by Thursday when I also have to teach myself 2 chapters of Chemistry inside and out. Meh... I just spent 8 hours in the faunal analysis lab taking measurements and sketching the mandibles and occipitals of every damn beast in there. My professor's concepts of "homework," "quiz," and "enough time to learn the material" are greatly distorted.
