Last year was a pretty tough year. Actually, it started in December of 07 when mom became seriously ill. Job hunting in 08 was sucky and that's when I knew the economy was going downhill. Then mom died in July. That was not fun, especially when dealing with various weirdo siblings. But I did get a permanent job (at a bank!) and even though the pay ( Read more... ) -

The Snow Of 2008
Portland got a fair amount of snow over a week, I think the most actually since 1968. The worst part is driving on hills and corners. A little tricky. Closer to Mount Hood, there's always alot more snow and skiing! Snowshoeing! Nordic skiing! My friend J lives very close to Hood and is used the snow.
