Well, Winry's baiting had some effect, I'm glad; though, really, maybe she'd have more success with a wrench to Ed's head. ;) (*blinks* I didn't mean for that to rhyme...)
Oh yeah, went nitpicking and found tiny typo: "I don’t think you mother would be disappointed...” Shouldn't that be: "your mother"?
Good conversation with the old man; it's nice to see Ed interacting a bit more with people.

Hmmm this is turning out interesting and you're handling Ed and Winry well. I would like a bit more fleshing out of what happened to Al. Maybe in later chapters, ne?
