*Buries face in hands, torn between pride and embarrassment*
Somehow, when Kubo Tite planned his manga, I don't think he had this in mind. Esp. for Urahara Kisuke & Benihime. Freud and Jung would have had a field day analysing this, where underlying mindset is concerned.

Hrm. Interesting. I don't know about the freudian angle but as it has been suggested that the swords are reflections of their owners I have to wonder if this isn't suggesting a profound level of narcissism on Kisuke's part. On the other hand, if it works for him, even manifesting as a semi-separate being, then would that actually be bad?

You picked up on the possibly overmuch narcissism! *whistles* If you pick out the other 2 things I was in a snit about, I'll be extremely impressed. It was born after the last 2 chapters from "Tag".

I've always felt that in a sense,he's not quite honest/unselfish (enough), even with himself. What I wanted to do was try and develop that, to make him acknowledge the part that makes people... people.

Even then-- if he does finally understand it--, they are doomed anyway. The significance of the rise and fall of drapes- Wait, I'm not giving that away so easily.

Wait, you mean I have to actually read it carefully instead of just skimming it now? I did read most of Tag, but I usually skim over these fics that consist of one chapter declarations of love, no offense intended. Indeed, if you were less of a writer, no skimming at all would have occured. Hrm. Maybe some time when I'm in an odd mood I'll take you up on that challenge.

I really like your style of writing and I think you should make him go back and see her. But I'll leave what Kisuke's going to tell Benihime to you. :) Good job, and I can't wait to see if you're going to make another part.

Although I don't even have a name to thank you by... but thank you.
I'll think about it.

Just read Tag in one sitting, my eyes hurt a bit but heck it was so good to read that I couldn't stop. I've never really considered the possibility of Yoruichi and Byakuya as a couple, you did the pairing well. I loved the tie in with the canon.

As for this fic with Urahara and Benihime... psychological aspects aside, it's very beautiful and sad. Wish you'd continue it, but if you don't it's okay as it is too.

Thanks for the encouragement to continue. You're not the only one to say that, and about the eyes hurting in one sitting, heh.

I'll probably do a part 2 for Urahara and Benihime... next year? That is, after my busy schedule until year-end, trying to decide which fics to do first, and if the manga hasn't revealed what Benihime's spirit looks like (I haven't been reading chapters in ages).

Wow! I really liked this piece! I too just read all of Tag and loved it! I really like your writing style and I love your Kisuke. I think you should write part 2 of this but if you're too busy I understand. (I'll just assume it ended well since I'm a sucker for happy endings) Anywho, I just wanted to stop by and tell you how much I liked this. Great job!

I have a few more pieces from different fandoms to write, but time and RL are not being conducive. Hopefully the unrevealed chap. 316 isn't going to undo my premise... and thanks for the encouragement!
