4 days back to exercising - 5 if you count today, as I am heading out there in about 10 minutes and 3 days totally on plan (at least 2 L water a day, at least 20 minutes of exercise, journal every day - not necessarily here! - and stick to my food plan). Great news - I got a contract today (out of the blue) to do some database backend work for a large Sydney company. The web developer lives here, and was looking for someone to do the ecommerce part of the site, and someone gave her my name. I start working there next week, and it should work out well for my availability re uni/teaching course etc ( Read more... )

Well I got my car back, registered it, and am sorted for another year (on Wednesday afternoon) ... and then promptly left it at home for the last 2 days while I zoomed to Brisbane for a flying visit.

OMG OMG OMG :)
Graham just rang me and asked if I would be available to teach both the Director subjects this year ... woohoo!
The best thing about it is that its basically one day a week (plus some preparation) but earns equivalent to an ok wage after tax, so if I can score a parttime job at J, I'm set! :)
