Happy 4th, all you American-type people!!
Quick question. One of you posted about Tanya Huff's Smoke & ... series a few weeks back. Who was it? I want to reread your rec now that I'm almost through with the first one.
*loves on you all*

In your post you were talking about casting it. Was that just you having fun, or has Ms. Huff herself talked about who she would cast in it?
If you're going for Canadian actors, who would PG play? His hair is wrong for Henry, but he has the personality for it...
Hmm. Canadian actors... James Allodi? Peter Outerbridge? Are there roles for them? Molly Parker as Amy? Or is she too old? My other boyfriend, Ian Tracey (Mick from Da Vinci's Inquest)? And okay, Callum Blue is British, not Canadian, but I can see him pulling off Tony. What fun to think about.
Would Tanya Huff totally freak about fanfic with her characters? Because I'd love to see Ray and Fraser go play in Vancouver...

Oh, it totally does. Alas, the esteemed Ms. Huff does not write porn. But there's implied gay sex! especially in the third book!

Just me having fun, though in the comments someone mentioned that she had it on good authority that my guesses were dead on. :D And TH has an LJ (andpuff)!

Ooh, I like that, though. Except he's too tall (but then, who wouldn't be?). Maybe Vicky's partner from the original series, Mike Celluci, although he doesn't turn up in the Smoke and... books. I love Molly Parker as Amy! She's in every single Canadian movie anyway...

He might be too old though. Tony's really the hardest, because I don't think he's based on anyone, and you'd have to get it exactly right, ( ... )
