I am lame. The Season 4 eps were overloading, so I split it into two separate lists. And it was STILL hard. I had to leave off Tomorrow and Forgiving and Reunion and The Price! Not cool!

Top Five Seasons One Through Three

5. Blood Money - Love my girl, but seeing her played like a fool is actually kinda funny sometimes.
4. Untouched - Faux homemaker Lilah who's really a ruthless bitca...it's a thing of beauty.
3. Redefinition - The interplay between Lilah and Lindsey is just fabulous.
2. Five By Five - "Green is my favorite color. I look good in diamonds. And I love riding in limousines."
1. Billy - It's perfect Lilah. She takes back the night and looks fabulous doing it. Plus? Cordy flirtage.

Top Five Season Four

5. Calvary - "It's my inner megalomaniac. I, uh, rebel at serving coffee."
4. Habeas Corpses - Hurt!Lilah, Selfless(ish)!Lilah...Lilah with a gun. Mmm.
3. Slouching Towards Bethlehem - Mmm, dollar bill snuggles and mind-fucky games.

Though actually, I could oddly see Lilah being truthful about that. Like, she embraces her inner dork, but only allows people to see said inner dork when it's convienant (see: Bethany).
Or not, heh.

"Home" -- Lilahlicious indeed, and I thought was PURE setup for LOTS of Lilah in S5. Not that I'm RAGINGLY BITTER or anything....

*groans* I leveled out on s5 okay and like a lot of it now, but I had such high, specific hopes from Home that Conviction sooooo smashed to pieces.

I love that scene in Reprise! Especially the whole "I should've had kids" part.

"Dead End" - the Lilah-and-Lindsey scenes -- I think I read in an SR interview she and CK really enjoyed working together, and it shows.

Yeah, there was definitely a genuine "We're having fun, whee!" in all of their scenes that really came across and made it so much fun to watch. Even as far back as Five by Five/Reprise, there was great interplay between them.

Supersymmetry - Love her following Wesley
Billy - The bitch comes back
Apocalypse Nowish - It's great when she makes fun of Fred and gets under Wesley's skin
Deep Down - You know she knows about Justine in the closet and Wesley's obsession with finding Angel.

Oh hell yeah. I totally believe she knew about Justine all along. And, being Lilah, she probably ramped up the "impossible loudness" just to mess with them both ;)

I almost picked Salvage too, but those scenes *still* make me sniffle every time I watch them dammit.

Season 4 really was the Year of Lilah and Weslah. No wonder I love it so much ;)

What's funny is that I feel like SR overplayed "the only true thing I ever..." line, but given that it was one of the few times Alexis really showed emotion for her to act against, it worked. But the way she played that, given that she wasn't Lilah so much as Wesley's interpretation of Lilah, and Wesley's vision of Lilah clearly did love him? There's room for the way she played the lines.

So much more powerful than almost any death/dissolution of 'ship-ness in the Buffyverse ever. "Close your eyes" probably winning.

*grin* I would have added the sewer scene in Habeas Corpses, but that's for Lilah/Wes Days. Because the sewer scene has that *beautiful* face acting where I can't believe anyone see that she loves him and she can't, and she has to let him go.

Man, I need a Lilah icon.

1. Deep Down.
Not just because of the decapitation, or even the hot Weslah. It's because of the slightly tired, glowing, little makeup but red bitten lips look Lilah had all through the ep. She screamed post-coital.

2. Straight on to Ground State. Hottest sex scene of all time, plus a great Lilah/Angel moment where he puts the fear in her.

3. I just can't get away from the S4, can I? Calvary. "Well, braid my hair and call me Pollyanna." This was the second Angel ep I ever saw, and I was heartbroken at the end when this glorious new character died.

4. Forgiving. The "count me in" sign! The signature neck twist! The Lilah/Angel goodness! The knife!

5. Home. One simply can't resist the strut.

Oooh, love the Lilah/Angel moments. SR & DB seemed to be on the verge of cracking up in Ground State. One of my favorite scenes ever.
