It's been a while. I've realized how many different mediums and formats I like to write in, and how each one serves a purpose. I've been reading journal, but I have only 2-3 friends who actually post on here, although they are definitely worth keeping track of. This morning, I moved out of my lovely and temporary blue summer house that I shared with my boyfriend. He's in california seeing family, and I am here in the seattle area trying to do the same. It has been an exciting month already. Today (any moment in fact) my band is leaving on tour for the southwest, california, 2 weeks in the sun, singing and hopefully swimming. I usually have a very strategic process for making zines, that involves doing all of the writing in one journal, editing it there, piecing it together, then I make a list of what will go in. Then I work on typing everything on a typewriter and putting it in a folder that I tack to my wall. Yesterday I went swimming for the first time this year, in a shallow creek in the middle of the woods. I moved. Its great. My new place is big and open and old. I like living with my sweetie so far, although its brand new, it feels positive and fun. I am drinking white wine that my roommate gave me after she baked a rhubarb pie with fruit from our garden. I am moving in about a week, having lived in the same place for 2 years, a long time for me, unheard of since i was 14.
