Finding your roots
As I've gotten older and have become emerged in my work life, sometimes I feel like I've lots my "roots." I've been thinking lately of all the hobbies and interests I had in high school and college. Fall is here!
Fall has def. arrived here in Burns. The day is still nice (got up to around 80-85) but the nights are getting colder. Today is the coldest it has been yet, there is def. a chill to the air today. Also, the leaves are starting to fall from the trees and have been blowing around. It was really nice to sit out on our porch yesterday doing work on ( Read more... ) -

Things are going good.. we finally got all of our stuff over to Burns and our house is starting to look a little more like a home everyday. We still have a long ways to go though.

moving!
So I've officially finished the school year, now it's time to start packing and getting ready for the move!
Considering I have literally DAYS..... I'm not sure where to begin!
I still can't believe I start a new job this Monday! And I will be moving into a 3 bedroom house!
Crazy how fast things move sometimes. -

Update!
So not many people know this yet, partly because of how quickly it's all happened..... but Ryan and I may be moving to Burns, Oregon. Ryan left 3 weeks ago there because he got a job offer in construction with his dad and brother. On top of that, I may (or may not) be getting laid off from the school district. First day w/o Ryan
I survived my first day without Ryan here. It's really weird being here without him. I've never spent my time at home alone.. the way our work schedules worked he was often here when I was at work but when I was here (or off on the weekends), by the time I got up he was already home from work. I really miss the good ole livejournal days when this was my social networking site. I like facebook... but it's almost tooo much. I get caught up on there "updating" all my applications etc. So mostly I'm on there these days ( Read more... )
