Today was...weird. I was at work and my boss asked me to do some stupid inane task and I, for some reason unbeknownst to me, had to run from the room before I burst into tears. Top Shelf Weekend
My friend Sara came down from Detroit this weekend and we had a lovely time. I spent entirely too much money on books -- we went to Borders every day she as here. But I got The God Delusion and The Portable Atheist, which I'm looking forward to reading.

I realized something very important watching American Idol tonight (which just goes to show even silly shows can be educational every once in a while). I can't watch someone else cry without getting all teary myself. Snow Day!
We got a few inches of snow so no work today. One of the benefits of working at a school.

I was at Border's tonight reading (I am such a loser). Anyway, I was reading Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, which is this hilarious account of Jesus' life that the Bible sort of leaves out, as told by his best friend, Biff.
