I moved!
I am now in my own apartment, which is wonderful!
Of course, I miss seeing my brother every day, but it's nice having my own place -- I can take my clothes off as soon as I get in the door. Watch whatever I want on TV. Stay up as late as I want.
Work is busy. I've worked 10 hours every day this week. I am le tired. So that's all for now, but I'm ( Read more... ) -

I hope everyone doesn't absolutely hate me on LJ anymore. I've been lurking, just felt too busy to really write. But I'm going to try and do better!

An update?
You think people know when their kids are brats? I went to a very exciting softball game this evening (I've done wonders for my social life in moving to Cincinnati). And there are these two girls there -- one on the team and her older, even more obnoxious sister -- and I wonder whether their parents know how annoying they are. They're so polite ( Read more... ) -

I know it's been a while...
Ohio has been busy. My new job is sort of chaotic -- they've got me doing the work of three people right now.
This week started the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, though, and I went to see a musical, "The Kid in the Dark." I really enjoyed it. I'm going to see four or five more shows this week, I hope.

Earth Day: 2007
Before the events of Earth Day, I wanted to tell you that I was very close to right in predicting my mother having a heart attack if I went to church today. I did go, and it was an interesting experience. I will probably go back. It was the first church I've ever been to with gay clergy. Okay, so I've had to stop watching all of the newscasts concerning Virginia Tech. I know it's silly, but I've been having bad dreams. And I don't want to wake up questioning whether anymore of my family is really dead or if it was just a dream. My cousin, John, emailed. I moved to Cincinnati on Friday -- it's cold, damn cold. But I'm here and started my jorb today. They think I'm a genius, which, of course, is true. Except for this one lady, she's a bitch. I heart my friends!
My parents are stil being somewhat poopy. But that's to be expected, I suppose. Tonight Dad said he hoped I was as happy as I hoped I'd be. Which is a really backwards jab, I think. I told him even if I wasn't happy, he'd never hear about it. There's not much joy in it anymore, it's too much like I have something to prove.
