Pushing Daisies was just lovely. It's like Tim Burton's visual eye meeting with Amelie's narrating (they even play the same song the movie did in one scene!). The characters are lovely, the premise is whacky and heartwarming, the cast is good, it seems fresh amid all the pilots I've watched in the last week AND is it any wonder with this being ( Read more... )

Bionic Woman was way too fast considing all the emotional rollercoaster the main character had to go through. I didn't exactly warm up to Michelle Ryan's performance. There was constantly something off with her. :/ And the editing was occasionally very disturbing ( Read more... )

Chuck was better than I'd thought. Reminded me a lot of Jake 2.0 but so much better and creditable. And Adam Baldwin! Dude the show has him as a regular (?). Boy do I love the internet? Looks like the networks have also realized its potential as several of the previously mentioned pilot episodes were leaked into the web some time ago. Among others were Sarah Connor Chronicles, which imo does have potential. I'm so glad I got to watch it already. It could've been another Blade the Series, but it wasn't. ( Read more... )
