Hmmm... perhaps I should read that one...

Oh, and I didn't mention in my brief review that Ackroyd's novel is written in period-voice. I now realize what was really missing from Dacre Stoker's sequel to Dracula; it was not written in period-voice but in totally modern language except in dialog. That maybe would have made it better...
