OK - I get that it is illustrated, but what makes it so collectable that they think it's worth $450?

So how do you like the Aplets and Cotlets?

I am loving the aplets and cotlets (the name confuses me though- how can they be called 'aplets' when apple is not one of the flavors included?)

It says it is the 'Seventh Printing' from 1943. SO... probably the first edition, though not the first printing and over 50 years old and in pretty good condition. This makes a little more sense.

Actually no, because I alread have a bunch in my fridge... it does make me want to use them though - I found an interesting recipe for bread pudding...
