I read this poem and never realized you were talking about raindrops, yet still without that knowledge it was still so very powerful. I guess for me this poem demonstrates how the small and intricate happenings within nature can reflect relevant issues to humanity.

 Ok i could be completely wrong about my interpretation of this poem .. which i love by the way, but this is how i see what youve explored.

The way i see ignorance being displayed in this poem, is understood when the reader puts themselves in the place of the narrator. This person is safe and protected within the comfort and security of the walls ( Read more... )

 In this poem ive tried to capture my interpretation of  experience through intricate descriptions, that Ive noticed other well-known Australian writers have all incorporated into their expressions. Ive tried to not be so obvious about my meanings, but rather open interpretations up to personal reflection and meaning, relative to each individual.

 I was really surprised as to the plays i witnessed this recent week at the Seymour center, what an experience, my expectations were definitely blown away after Tuesday night.  I didn't think the difference between reading the play as opposed to watching it would be that different, but i was wrong.
