CLV International Day, FTW!
Simply put, yesterday totally rocked my socks. The drive to Bemidji ended up only taking 5.5 hours vs. the 6.5 we roughly estimated the week before. Still, it was a long car ride. I tried to teach my mom the pronunciation of the syllables in the Japanese alphabet on the way there, but that didn't go so well. Basically she and I ended up laughing ( Read more... ) -

Best part of the day: Sleeping through the entire morning.
Best part of the holiday in general: Back to school clothes shopping at goodwill in maplewood. That store is mostly clothes and damn do they have some cute shit. ^_^ Everything is 50% off every 4th of July. Soo... $150 later, I have managed to complete step one of ( Read more... ) -

So, I have discovered the joy of Asian Kung-Fu Generation. *drools with happiness* While I probably won't become majorly obsessed with it (who knows, though), I'll definately be listening to "loop & loop" for quite a while.

The World Keeps Turning.
It's acutally kind of funny, I woke up this morning and the sun was shining. Not unusal I know, but for some reason it really stood out. I even felt better than I have in a long time. No headaches yet today. It was nice to be able to just get up, wash my hair in the sink (5 minute prep time each morning! Woot!), get dressed, gel my hair and go for ( Read more... ) -
