Thanks. I'm not really sure what the plan is - I have next Friday and the Monday after off. I have to be in Chico for my brother's graduation, and I'm pretty sure I'm driving up by mysself. So I'm not actually sure we'd even be able to see each other if I do go through SF. But it's a thought.
hugs...there have been several times in my life that were transitions such as this...wishing you the best and I hope you will continue to stay in touch, no matter who your are that day...may you continue to follow your path.
Well I wouldn't say that not doing it (going to New York) would make you a failure. But I do think you would always wonder what if. It's natural for people to grow apart. That happens. That doesn't mean you won't reconnect some day. It's all part of growing.
And if you're afraid to go to NYU, it's okay. It's just an experiment and if it doesn't work out it's only because you are not happy, not because you've failed. You're you. And you can't be a failure at that. I promise.
I believe in you. I believe in you. I believe in you!
Congratulations and good luck with NYU! Good on you for having the balls to go through with it, even if it's scary and difficult, just the fact that you're going for it makes you a success.
I can't say that I'm alright yet. But I know I will be.
Although I had another uncle die on Saturday. My uncle Ken had a heart attack. I wasn't close to him, but I can't imagine how hard this must be on my grandmother and the rest of her children (my mom has 5 living siblings now).

You're going to be okay--I'll see you soon. I'll message you my cell number so you can call me if you're still up for hanging out at some point.
