Tell me about Hellboy? I've been curious, but unable to figure out how to start.
I have a silly thing about the history of comics on my tivo, and cats, whenever you're feeling it.

Hmmm. I'm enjoying Hellboy, but it took me awhile to get into. A lot of it is little stories adapted from obscure folktales, and they often don't have fully satisfying conclusions, they just kind of end (often tragically). It has a cast of interesting characters, though, who I really want to know more about; the style (both artistic and narrative) is engaging; and, I am a serious sucker for obscure folktales. My first couple volumes are in Northampton, but I can get them sometime soon if you'd like to borrow.
Ooh, that is extremely tempting. Would that be an evening thing, or something for weekend-time?

If you like Hellboy, find a copy of Atomic Robo (the tpb shipped this week). It's heavier on the humor, and I loved it dearly.
I got Y the Last Man, but I haven't read it yet. It'll be sad when I'm done with the series.

Yeah, I'm very sad to be done with Y, now; I loved it from beginning to end. Would be interested to hear your thoughts, when you finish.
