So I haven't properly signed in here for nine months. Over the last week or two things have kept happening to remind me that I shouldn't just leave this journal abandoned, with no explanation or forwarding address

Thanks for the links! From glancing at them briefly, I'm not sure either is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll have to explore more thoroughly later.
I think I'm more likely to move to blogspot or Wordpress than Dreamwidth, but yeah, options on DW would likely be similar to or the same as here.
I was starting to wonder what happened to you. I know we don't know each other all that well but I always enjoyed reading your entries and looking at your artwork. I hope all is well.Take care!
I've never yet finished a comic book, much less printed one. My major goal right now is to get together a 'minicomic' (half-size, zine-style comics; this is how most small/independent cartoonists start out), and when I finally pull that off there will be announcements everywhere. :)
ack! I suppose I should get whatever kind of account people have these days. You should start a webcomic so I can follow it. :) We should do another (annual??) drawing day!
I'd feel bad about dragging other people into internet trends, I think. :p
I don't know about a webcomic, but I should really wrap up the ridiculous fanart binge I've been on and set about getting a minicomic together. (Once I get past some of these deadlines.) But yes! We should definitely do another drawing day, I would love that. I'm much less weird about drawing around people now that I seem to have my mojo back. :)
If I wind up doing the centralized blog thing at some point, I'll probably post all my art there as well, which will make following dA less than important. I'm going to try and get this figured out in the next month or so?
You don't have to follow me everywhere on the internet, dude. :p But yeah, no, I actually don't like it when twitter gets linked to either of those places; it gets redundant. (I guess I favor centralizing one's reading, rather than one's posting?)
I guess it's the place I'm most active, anyway, at least for now. :) Well, there are a number of options besides actually checking twitter all the time . . . you can get individual twitter feeds on a feed reader, and Firefox also has an add-on where they pop up at the lower right of your browser (creatively called Twitterfox). I use the latter.
