My Sherlock Holmes collection. Or why yes I am a nerd. A good portion of this is presents and from used book stores. The remainder from comic shops and regular book stores bought with gift cards, birthday money, and discounts thanks to my membership card which I've had since Barnes and Noble started the program.

Same. I have several copies of the original stories. My favorite are on the bottom shelf. They're the annotated volumes. They add so much to the stories like background, historical facts, and trivia. And add additional illustrations.

I have my eye on a book I saw in Barnes and Noble called the Sherlock Holmes bedside companion (or something like that) which has lots of trivia and explains a lot of the details in the Holmes books which might be confusing to modern readers (for example, for YEARS I thought "dog carts" were pulled by dogs. They weren't.)
