DD swears that Wendy's french fries dipped in a chocolate frosty is a gift from the gods.

When one is preparing for a colonoscopy, any solid food looks wonderful!

I am so going for breakfast after the procedure!

I have been spending some time trying to get my recipes in order. All of those little pieces of paper with the spatters of ingredients on them that fall out of the cookbooks. The time seemed right to type them all up and print them on nice clean paper ( Read more... )

All of the pets are pooped out!

Ginger and Max got their teeth brushed, ears cleaned, bathed, and furminated.

We barely were able to bathe Jet and furminate her. Hard to believe a nine pound kitty can be so ferocious!

Anyhow, everyone is finished being mad at me and DH. They all are shiny, smelling good and resting quietly:)

Spent the day doing errands and laundry while DH cleaned all of the ceiling fan blades and light globes. Geez, those things collect a lot of crap ( Read more... )

DH and I have taken a staycation this year. We are cleaning a lot of clutter out of the house...and trying not to bring in more. On Thursday we cleaned out the garage and have found that we have enough for a large donation pickup AND a yard sale. We haven't even cleaned out the cupboards and closets yet! A while back my neighbor and I were talking about clearing the clutter out of our houses in order to make room for wonderful things to enter rour lives. For Fahter's Day I preordered a copy of The Watchmen for DH. Today it arrived in the mail and I was able to give him a cool present that he really wanted! Right now he is watching it and I am happy happy happy to see him enjoying it so much:)
