There *was* a wedding dress in the vintage shop on the first floor in Afflecks, it was a while back though so it might have gone - it was only £10 and it sounds like pretty much what you're looking for.

I've never seen Steve working in that bit but it might well be - it's on the first floor next to the cafe, and behind the place with all the kitsch and Hello Kitty type stuff.

Even if that dress is gone they do have all sorts in there and it's dirt cheap, so might be worth a look anyway. xx

have you tried Pink Parrot in St Anns Square? They do some lovely masks :)

OK, I'm sure you've already covered this base, but just in case, the charity shops do sometimes have special wedding stores, although lord knows where they'd be. You could enquire though, if you got desperate and didn't mind the dress being your usual hideous charity shop fare.

I would suggest Pink Parrot but as you may know it has unfortunately shut down. But how about Anything Theatrical on Oldham Street? Or that fancy dress shop above Pop?
