things are not going that well right now. im am once again drowning in work and one of my closest friends has decided she doesnt like us anymore because neither of us can make plans to hang out. i made a promise to other people and i cant back out on that, and then she made me feel bad about not going to the dance, so i started trying to convince

:-( Homework is the killer of everything... Actually, work in general is the killer of anything social. There are some friends I have seen so few times this semester that I barely remember what they look like.
Hopefully this person will realize how busy you are, and how you can't really help it... I'm feel badly for you being in this position.
