San Diego was good, good. It wasn't the best vacation of my life, but it was good to be out and about again. Spending time with Juan and Matt was the best. Rare is the time that we get to spend this much uninterrupted time together. We didn't do the zoo, Sea World, or anything too exciting, but we walked a lot. I keep hearing about the depression that people feel in this stage of treatment. It's more like grief, they say. In interest, I looked up the five stages of grief.

1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance

I met with the social worker yesterday. I told her how I've found a reason for many things in my life after looking back and reflecting on them. I also told her how I'm having real difficulty accepting my cancer. There is no reason that it's me. Cancer comes without cause ( Read more... )
