Holy cow! I am amazed that Gretchen is going to be 6 months old tomorrow! I still feel the shock and awe that Chris and I brought such an awesome child into the world, and the fact that she's been with us for this long already is just amazing. We noticed something amazing on Saturday--Gretchen's first teeth are starting to come in! She'd been a bit more irritable than normal through most of the holiday, chewing on things even more often than usual. Someone found a small gas leak in the basement of the work building today. So, we all got to evacuate and tromp down to our storage garage for a while. Everything's ok, and it was nice to get a little fresh air break today. Plus, it made me happy that the weather had warmed up a little bit ( Read more... )

Well, I'm posting from home today, as our little Gretchen has some kind of flu that's passing around daycare right now. Yay for winter! This would be the 2nd time in a week that she's been sick. Chris had to pick her up last Wednesday and take her home because she had a 24-hr flu that makes stuff come out both ends. I got sick with that one on ( Read more... )
