i scored almost very high

surgery

i actually wouldn't mind if my hours were 6pm-6am, but i get the reverse. i can't sew pig foot skin for shit. instrument tying isn't that hard, tho. i pulled some tubes out of some people today.

i started my peds clerkship today

i did a newborn exam and may have had neonate p00 on my hands

peds pet peeves:
EVERYTHING IS IN COMIC SANS
the clerkship director is Valarie and one of the assistants is Malerie. these hurt my eyes.

i just finished STEP 1 of USMLE and i didn't feel like it was that big of a deal. kaplan questions were virtually the same style. i am used to sitting in front of a computer all day so i felt decent. i felt like shit after the mcat but not after this.

i think i passed but we will see in 6 weeks.
