Haha, I read the Bechdel test, and I was like "uhm, Alison Bechdel?" I'm going to start looking for that, myself.

Had you read Dragon Tattoo? I just saw it myself after finishing it last month--what did you think?

I haven't read the book, which kind of breaks my rule about seeing a movie before reading the book. But it was a spur of the moment movie decision and I'm glad I went. I think I'll try and get the trilogy from the library now.

Loved the Bechdel test. I'm curious -- when did two females talk to each other about something in Toy Story 3? (I also saw it, and felt sort of ambivalent about its portrayal of the female characters).

The mom tells Molly (Andy's sister) to also donate toys/clean or whatnot. And later, Mrs. Potato Head and Jesse comfort Barbie when she's abandoned by Molly.

And I think the moms at the day care chat for a few minutes about their kids, too. But yeah, that's not much to holler at!
