Dear ultras, short-sighted policemen, Italian government and Powers That Be in calcio,

Please to stop ruining our Capitano's last season.

Seriously, I wonder if he regrets not retiring right after the Champions League final.

I'm surprised you're not getting headaches from all the eye-shifting you've been doing lately?

*sigh*

(Yay, you posted!!! That's so rare!)

Calcio is breaking my heart right now.

I would post more, but by the time I manage to come up with a semi-readable entry, someone already said what I wanted to say, and so much better than I ever could. Same for comments.

But my question I had not seen asked anywhere, so I posted just for the hell of it.

Bah, a little repetition never hurt anyone.

By all means, post moremoremore! I believe that every single question in life could be rewritten from an original, one-of-a-kind Paolo-centric POV, so post away! (Erm, that was meant to encourage you to post...just in case it wasn't clear.)

Well I'm very glad you said that, 'cause I happen to have TONS of Paolo-centric philosophical and spiritual questions I'm losing sleep over.

Hello, new friend! *waves*

I've been wondering that, myself. So far it's a weird weird season, with the healing knee and last weekend's woes and I'm trying not to look at the serie A table and all. But me, I'm so glad we still have him around.

Italian government and Powers That Be in calcio

To paraphrase a wise proverb I once read in a Batman comic book, "Warrior, heed this: when you battle with cash registers, aim not at their hearts."

Hello, and thanks for friending me back!

As much as I love to watch him play, as much as I'm going to miss him when he retires, I can't help thinking the Champion's League final would have been a much more fitting exit for a player of his stature than... I don't know what yet and I don't want to sound like a horrible defeatist.

I'm a pessimist and I make no sense. Yay, welcome to my Journal!

...Maybe I should start reading Batman comic books instead of weeping over the news.
