I am having an emotional day.

First of all, money is tight. A large part of our income is my school loans. I get a check once every 6 months. My next check come one month from now and it's getting tight. It's stressful. Money stinks. I'm sure that you would all agree with that fact. Three years until residency feels far away.

Don't I know about money being tight. I'm sorry you didn't get that position. :-(

I wish I had a good reading recommendation. Some older books that I love and think everyone should read are The Poisonwood Bible (Barbara Kingsolver) and A Prayer For Owen Meaning (John Irving). If you haven't read either of those ... run, don't walk, over to the library.

Right now I'm reading Barbara Kingsolver's newest book The Lacuna. It's okay. But it's taking me *forever* to read. It's definitely not as gripping as all her other books.

I've heard about The Poisonwood Bible. We'll be at the library this afternoon, I'll have to look for those.

Uh, I am prone to give up on books if I'm not in love with them. Have you read Water For Elephants? It was my favorite from my reading last summer.

Thanks. I'm trying to stay positive. Each time something such as this doesn't work out, I am able to look back and know that it was for the best. I hope that will be the case for this:)
