ALSO,

this might not be any use to you but when I started to get a cold I went into crazy mode to fight it off and I bought Cold and Flu (that's the actual brand; they're like natural ones with Echinacea and other good herb things) and I took two at once (instead of one at a time, but I'm fine so it was okay); drank about/at least two bottles of water a day; went for a jog (to help boost my immune system); and essentially lived on spinach, eggs, and mushrooms (plus soup - my soup of choice was moroccan chickpea). Maybe some combination of that will be helpful for you, haha? I tried to blast it out so maybe that'll work for you (or not; we're all different, etc.).

Happy to hear you are happy with Hamish. Having a partner you can trust is pretty great. I was very nervous when I first entered college because I don't really like talking to strangers. I'm just not very outgoing and I tend to like things that not many others like.

But I finally forced myself to just approach people and have a conversation and it was so much easier than I feared! People were just as nervous as me and also looking for new friendships. You just have to push yourself to take chances. I was in a theater class and I talked to some people because I needed a group for a project. We worked well together and we started hanging together outside of class and when not rehearsing the project. This led to meeting other people and I had fun.

I know it may be harder because you seem so reserved and quiet, but I think it is worth it to just go out and find activities. The more you do, the more places you visit, the easier it is to meet new people and forge friendships.
