Because this is the way the world works... I just happen to get my first troll comment to a fic post when I am completely frustrated with fandom.

You all know how I feel about wank. I just don't get involved. But let me make something abundantly clear...

Someone had the nerve to invite you to join an anti-H/G community? *boggles* I presume this was in response to your Ginny/Blaise fic. If so -- well, even if it isn't so -- that's some hardcore presumption at work.

The explosion of hatecomms lately has gotten *way* out of hand. Are people THAT bored? Maybe they should just go away and do some real wanking, not the Internet kind.

HA!! I should be so lucky. No, it was a comment to my post linking to my fic, Seven, in harry_and_ginny!!! Umm. Hello??? I'm posting in an H/G comm! WTF? *facepalm* The Blaise/Ginny one I actually recently took down for other reasons, so they couldn't even have gotten to that one. I subsequently deleted the comment to the post and then disabled comments, which I hope was ok with mods. I just didn't think anyone in that comm needed to see that. GAH.

Maybe they should just go away and do some real wanking, not the Internet kind.

As it happens, it seems this fuckwit is spamming OBHWF comms; hecatesknickers just reported that they also posted an invitation to the application post for cuzjkrsaidso.

Clearly today *is* the Day of the Beast. :-P

In fact, I don't want to join that group any more than I would want to join antiDracoHermione, antiRonSquid, antiNevilleSusan, antiHarryDraco, antiBlaiseBlaise'slefthand or even antiHarryHermione.

I think the fact that I giggled while reading that sentence completely ruined the effect you were going for. Honestly, Blaise/Blaise's left hand is DA BOMB, YO!

And this person must really be a moron if they didn't get the fact that you LIKE H/G.

I agree about people not understanding that fandom is fandom, as in we're all entitled to our preferences as fans of a work. It just pisses me off when I see people say something like, "Voldemort/Hermione? EWWWW!" I mean, if you can't be tolerant about a bloody stupid ship, there's no way in hell you can be tolerant about racism, sexuality, abortion, and a myriad other REAL LIFE issues out there. You know, the stuff that ACTUALLY MATTERS.

You know what? On kind of a tangent, I realized today (as I listened to OotP on the elliptical trainer) I think that I might like Ginny better than Hermione. Not that this is your intent, but it's possible that I might one day attempt writing some Ginny-centric fic. Knowing me, it would be Ginny/horribly-OOC-Draco, but if I were one tenth as skilled as you I'd try to write Harry/Ginny.

As it is, I leave it to the experts. (That would be you and, to a lesser extent, JKR). :D

Okay, so that was rambly and not entirely related to the point of your post, but I was thinking about you as I was musing today.

So after I got really confused because I didn't know what a troll comment was, then I got really mad because OMGWTF is wrong with people? Then I giggled, and then I read B's little...uh, vignette. Yeah. So now I'm all sorts of overstimulated.

But I believe that my inital point would have been, your Ginny is fabulous, I love her nearly as much as I love you, and you know why I love your Ginny? Because she doesn't seem to be a Mary Sue to me, she IS Ginny, which is the main reason I don't read her elsewhere, people do strange things to Ginny (myself included...though I do try to make her cool, because Ginny is quite frankly the coolest chick ever), this troll-girl as I shall call her, is quite clearly not getting enough quality time with real life, or probably her right hand, and is taking it out on the world at large, which today is you baby. Now let's kick her ass. And drink. In whichever order.
