Argh, you know how much I love this fic. But I just reread it and it still kills me (in a good way! :P) every single time. :3 ♥

This is extremely intriguing, and I like the way you've crafted their dynamic here. I like the consistency in Ryan, how he doesn't seem to trust himself to draw the right conclusions about his relationship with Brendon after he was wrong about his father in a different way. And Brendon is just there, man, way more patient than I think people give him credit for, usually, but still unhesitant to make Ryan confront thing he doesn't really want to on his own. I don't know, it works for me. I enjoyed this. :)

It's amazingly rewarding when you write something that doesn't come out and blatantly state, Ryan's unsure of x because of y and yet people read it and say, Ohh, hey, I know, x influenced y!! So, thanks for that. I'm glad you liked it :)

Thank you so much! This one wrote itself, like all my favourite things. It was a joy to write, so I'm pleased that you got something out of it too :)

This is so gorgeous, and everything fits together so well that when I finished it, I started again at the beginning. You have a very delicate touch with emotions, and this was such a pleasure to read. (Also, the oil scene: hot and sweet and utterly necessary, and did I say hot? Hot).
