Oh man. My daughter fell into a nettle cluster when she was really little and it was kind of horrible. I'm glad you've gotten the experience over with and hopefully won't have to have it again. :)

You know... I can't remember the last time I saw a stove type tea kettle in a shop.

Thinking of little, little kids getting stung by nettles makes me sad because they wouldn't be able to understand what happened and that it will feel better, but not for a little while. Poor kid! :(

I feel like getting stung by nettles was a like a rite of passage for me. I don't think I can say I'm English now, but maybe now I'm an ex-pat.

I finally found one in a local (I think?) department store. They had some on Debenham's website, but they were pretty expensive.

Thanks. I looked at a couple thrift stores but with no luck there. I didn't think of antique stores (my next stop would have been a camping store. I was thinking that English people would still want tea when camping, so they might sell something to put on portable stoves), but I was finally able to find one in a department store that has a pretty big kitchen section.
