today i got home from the beach. we went to duck, north carolina, on the outer banks, for those who would like to know. it was incredible, and relaxing. i read a bunch of books during the week, which was my goal: to read for pleasure! i guess i am obligated to review them, briefly:

I like Nick Hornby, but I have no motivation to read About a Boy or High Fidelity because I've seen both those movies, and even though I loved both and love Nick Hornby, I just don't see the point. I'm also lazy. A Long Way Down was really good, though. PS I missed not seeing you this summer, hopefully I'll see you soon. If you're ever in Boston, look me up.
