These are such hard questions because it's hard for me to go hang somewhere to relax or go somewhere fun by myself, and I have so few friends here in Houston whose schedules can match with mine once in a while.
I think if I had the choice, I'd like to head to the beach to relax, even Galveston. It'd be nice if I had a friend or two to go with, though...
Work, on the other hand, I'd go to a coffee shop or something to do. Old habits from college die hard or something.
As for doing something fun... museums, parks, movies, plays, operas, etc. All would be fun. I just don't seem to enjoy myself as much if I don't have someone to share it with.
I'd like to go to a local cafe, read a book or find a stranger to talk to while sipping on something delicious and munching on pastries.
And same if I needed to get some work done: a cafe.
For fun, I would like to go karaoke, loved it in college, but not any real friends to do it with.
Considering i'm a night-owl, I find myself at Wal-Mart sometimes to get "away from it all", although I don't care for the store. Sometimes IHOP, but they're becoming less vegetarian friendly here in SA.
