life in the fast lane
* yesterday, there was chicken drama. one of the girls got her leg caught between two boards on their wishing well perch. there was flapping and squawking, then she just hung there with her wings out. o.O luckily, i was out there to rescue her...and i was SURE she had broken her leg with all the limping going on.

some friends of mine were going to raise chickens but they got burned out on it and finally donated the whole setup to a local school that was doing a project on farming.
