This one woman at work keeps a lending library of books on CD in an empty desk drawer.  I have recently gotten back in the groove of consuming books this way, since these days, by the time I get to pick up a book I usually get drowsy within a few pages.  Anyway, here are a few of the good ones I've "read" recently.  Keep in mind, her selection ( Read more... )

hey, whatever gets you to open a book... or whatever.

well, as for me, i'm STILL on the accident tourist. i like it... but i'm slow as molasses when it comes to getting through a book sometimes.

what were your impressions of history of love? my library still does not have it and i'm against buying books these days.

you MUST read the history of love. it's beautiful. breathtaking. i think it's a worthy book buy, if you're going to put the money out. that's how i feel about jhumpa lahiri's interpreter of maladies.

yeah, i might just buy it so that i can read it. i just don't like buying books because they take up so much space and are so heavy when you move and there are really only a handful of books that i will read more than once.
