i confess we had no joy of sex lying around my house, but not one but two copies of everything you ever wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask. i'd like to think both of my parents had bachelor/ette copies that they merged when they got married :)

my parents, who were immigrants, had a book called "Dangerous English" that was a part of the curriculum with my dad's english tutor. it was filled with cartoon scenarios in which people with either mispronounce words or misuse common words to unwittingly make sexual innuendos, etc.

i actually read this book when i was around 7, thinking it was a comic book. but of course, i didn't understand any of it didn't think it was funny. years later i saw it on the bookshelf and i was like, OHHHHH.
