I loved the description of the Stormcage planet. Neat idea for the rain to form part of the security system.
Lovely introspection for River too, it must be so strange to be inside her head. Looking forward to the next part.

That was really interesting. Really well described, i like how you have Mels arguing with River, that part of her that's always inside.

My head!canon sometimes suggests that the Doctor has ten other former personalities yelling about how they would do things differently. It must be very crowded in there.

Some pieces of this came to be back when we didn't know anything about her backstory. I'd already worked out that she was Time Lord-ish, but wasn't sure how they would reconcile that with RTD's great classic wipeout. For now I'm working on reconciling some episode plot holes and the three million small paradoxes about her very existence, leading up to a rather big one of my own invention.
